This is shaping up to be an exciting and worthwhile hobby. Actually I'm a little reluctant to call it a hobby when I see the commitment and devotion that so many hams have and what a valuable resource they offer to the community. In addition to being a member of the Sunset Empire Amateur Radio Club (SEARC) and the American Radio Relay League (ARRL), I'm having fun helping put together the website for SEARC, w7bu.net.
